HKS Exhaust is now on

I think I ordered the last E90 HKS exhaust in the country from Grip Motorsports. I got it on this morning (removed Borla, see ranting post) in about 3hrs. What a difference. The interior of the car is quiet, you can easily do a road trip with it. The sound is awsome. Perfect. Tunnel plate went right back on, fitment was spot on. Just had to tweak it to align the tips. Tips don't stick out much either which I really like, almost a flush mount look. Hangers are quality, overall the system is very secure. I'm super happy with it

If I had just gone this route to begin with, I would have saved a lot of money and time. So much for going the cheaper route. But it's done. Car is road worthy and sharp again.

As for the HKS I think its under-rated since its a Japanese exhaust going on a European car.

Its got a nice tame sound.

Are you running catless downpipes? I was really thinking of this buti have an auto and catless dp's and apparently this does drone too!

Tampa. I'm just north of you. If you wait about 2 more weeks I'll have a re-designed Borla system new in the box for sale, D.P. back. Supposed to clear the tunnel plate and have barbed hangers and fit correctly. No guarantees on the drone.

I heard this exhaust on a full catless setup and it was really nice! It sounds just as nice as my modding CPE exhaust setup! Great sound and the burnt tips looks awesome

Price is a little ridiculous for sure but going by the sound and the quality of the exhaust, its top notch..

I would not pay for something like this because of the price and my exhaust setup with custom resonators still cost half the price of this HKS exhaust.
