BMS clutch stop!!

Just got my new clutch stop, and I have say I am amazed by the difference something so simple can make. Shifts feel much more efficient and faster, for $10 bucks this is by far the best mod us MT guys can do.

Why do you need that? Can't you just control your foot by yourself? I don't mean that to be insulting... I'm seriously asking...

No, you have to go to a specialized BMW service to install it

Why don't you try it an report back ? Go to the drag strip, try to change gears as fast as you can and don't forget to stop your foot exactly 1 inch above the floor every time you press the clutch

you've obviously never had a clutch stop. No offense...

they work. gets rid of the extra travel that's not needed.

Are these instructions for a 335i? Because I did not have to remove any covers to access the clutch stop. Its a 20 second job...

Just got this and the BMS CDV installed and my manual driving experience is definitely better. Totally worth the $25 I spent

Hi - sorry to resurrect an old thread!

I fitted this and found that with all the spacers in place I was unable to start the car as clearly the clutch sensor that checks you have the clutch depressed before starting wasn't triggered because it wasn't able to depress far enough.

Had to remove one of the spacers to make it work - even now have to push down quite hard sometimes to get it to start.

Anyone else had this problem?

Do I need to adjust the sensor somehow?

Lol... Ok so i actually bought it and tried it myself... Definitely not necessary... If you have any skill at all you'll be fine without it... For me, it's more convenient, so i actually do like it... Especially for $10... But you guys are blowing it out of proportion lol

won't getting used to a clutch stop mess you up completely if you drive another MT car? I'm so used to the dead space as of now...

if its a different make or model the clutch feel will vary and take some getting used to any way.
