Ap downpipes vs AR dp's

Hey guys i patiently waiting for cobb stage 2, and try to get ready for it.
My question is any benefit using AR dp's or i can go cheaper agency power dp's.
I know that Ar is the only 3' on the market, but can i feel the difference?
Have some of you used both of them to give a nice review ?

Thanks.

I have one which I prototyped it as AR from China, I can tell there is no different between both.

AR or Macht Schnell. I have also had success with iCarbon.

I've been burned by downpipes before. My suggestion is to just go with the ones that I know will fit right.

All 3" downpipes taper down to 2.5 inches, so the power gains will not be noticable by the ol' butt dyno. With AR you are paying for a reputable brand that guarentees perfect fitament, that alone is worth the extra $.

The xi has a special fitment. Make sure the downpipes you buy will fit right. I know AR makes a special xi version.

Make sure you get downpipes specifically for the Xi, regular i's will not fit. I know AR makes the Xi version, not sure about other companies....hopefully some vendors can chime in on that.

I'm all about saving a buck when it makes sense, but I wouldn't take chances when you have an Xi. Pay the extra money and get one with guaranteed fitment.

AP

I like AP products. I currently have AP FMIC/CP/BOV and all fit perfectly. I've been looking into the AP DP but they are 2.75" dia. Matt schnell, AA and AR are all 3". I'm not sure how much that .25 difference will make but you can get coated 3" matt schnell for 699. I hear they fit perfectly but I'm not sure about an xi

Do you have an automatic or manual? There was a very minor mod I had to do to mine to make it work on a AT.

That is very good. The AT has a splash shield which has a metal brace that runs right here the DP has to bolt to. So i had to very very slightly hit the DP with a hammer and it worked like a charm. 0 loss in power and 100 percent in gains and performance. I have a muffler delete so the drone is a little loud/slight loss of back pressure.

Good cuz I have a feeling that will be my next order. I had planned on only intake and tune for my car, but we all know how that goes....

Though I like the DP's because it could lengthen the life of my turbos, and I'm hoping to get over 100k miles on my car.
