Automatic engine restart while shutting down
Recently when shutting my 335i down with the button, my car attempts to shut down, stumbles a split second and restarts again. It almost feels like I am not pushing the button hard enough and the contacts are reverting to the on position even though I have it pushed all the way in. I noticed this within the last 6 months and while it doesn't do it every time, it happens at least twice every 3 days. Anyone else had this in the past?

This has happened to me too, i was puzzled too but after some experimenting turns out i just didn't push it in all the way it could be duplicated on a good switch, but if your saying you push it all the way in my bet would be on the switch itself. +1 to Railgun

Yeah that's what I figured. I'm in Germany until January and my EU warranty ran out in 2010, have to wait until I get back stateside to get the switch checked out. Thanks guys.
