e46 price when e90 was introduced ?
When e90 was first introduced, anybody know what happened back then to e46 price for sedan and coupe ?
Did e46 sedan price droped at least by coupe of 1K$ ? Did e46 price dropped too or not before e92 was released ? I'm asking because it should be the same with F30 coming. |

Cars will always drop price when a new model comes out.
They drop more through dealer sales though. Private you can get a bit more. |

When a new model year goes on sale, the older cars are marked down marginally, but not by any really significant amount. The position you are in however, is to make a bargain to take the older car off of their lot to make room for the newer model. In doing this, you can save yourself a few thousand on a new car. Your best bet is to wait a month or so after the new car is released and then start searching for the remaining older models on their lot.

I'm not going to buy from a dealer. This is going to be private or mechand, so I don't think the space argument will have that much weigh.
So, there's no 5K$ price down the first year because every e90 owner run for the new model, with create a lot of offer in the market with not much buyer? |
