Question What happens if I close with the hands mirrors with automatic fold?

Hi guys,

I'd like to know if it's possible to close automatic mirrors with the hands.
I'll explain why: maybe I can get the M3 mirrors for a good price but they have automatic fold, my car has the mirrors with manual fold. I read that it's possible to close them anyway with hands, but can I always do it? Or maybe, after many times, something will break?

Cheers

I wouldn't waste 550 euro for nothing, it's not a joke for me I need to be 100% sure they won't break for any reason.
