Need Part number, please help!!!

As some of you may know, i recently had my car broken into and they attempted to steal it. In the process, among other things, they broke the wiper stalk from my steering column. I just spent the last 2 hours on realoem.com looking for the part (i refuse to let Life Quality BMW rape me because i dont know how much the part costs). If anyone could help me out, I will def be very grateful.

mine broke a couple years ago, fixed by dealer.
the stalk is not mechanical, there is an optical sensor inside the base of it that uses some kind of light to know what position the stalk is in.
i am not sure if the stalk is replaceable by itself, it may be part of a larger piece.

The wiper stalk is part of a larger assembly. There are several different ones available do you have Rain Sensors, Cruise control, Active Cruise Control, etc. Also I'm seeing a note that on vehicles produced up to 10/31/2008, you need to check the column switch module part number as there are special stocks which match with special modules.
