DS Mode

Anyone else every have an issue when you move the shifter to DS mode and the car doesnt go in to DS mode. The dash doesnt change from "D" to "DS".

I have 2009 E92

Any help would be appreciated.

probably wires got messed up... looks like common problem on e90. if out of the warranty, try search should be a relatively easy diy

Take it back to the dealership ASAP you are driving in D all the time which translates to Deadly you always want to drive in DS because it's that's the deadly safe mode.

In my opinion; DS too agressive. D stands for DEAD pedal.

LOL. This is actually true for an auto 328i while merging onto a freeway. The lag in D mode combined with 200 lbs of trq could indeed be deadly hahaha.

So it will go in to DS mode if I hold the shifter and not let it move over all the way to the left.
