LED Angel Eye intermittent blinking and warning

I had a bulb failure on my 2007 328XI and decided to replace both bulbs with bright white angel eyes from HighPerformanceBulb.com. I use the DIY posts and replaced both bulbs with no problem initially. After a few days I started getting intermittent "Left parking malfunction" errors. They tend to come and go about 25 - 40% of the time the lights are on. I also recently noticed that the left side will occasionally blink. I noticed while at a stop light behind a vehicle that I could see my headlight reflection off their car.

So, has anyone see this before? I have contacted the company and they have been very helpful and are sending me a replacement set since they believe it's a faulty bulb. I just thought I'd check here too.

Rick,
this seems like a faulty bulb to me. However, if the return set still blinks (extremely unlikely), then you can get an additional error canceller from HPB that will definitely elimate the problem. 2006/07 cars are extremely finicky with aftermarket bulbs, some cars seem more picky than others (within and outside of those model years).

This is normal. Light is blinking because that's how car checks if the bulb is good or not.
Your car's build date is probably in 06. This can be coded out, click on my signature to read more. I'm kinda far from you but I believe there are people in MA that are doing the same thing.

Hi guy's I have a 2009/10 320d business edition (nav) I have upgraded the angel eyes with hi-leds and find that if you start and then put in gear quickly after starting the error comes on often for the left N/s (England) also if you start the car then turn on lights they do flicker! Pain in the ---. Have new led smd units to fit at some time will update then

I got the same exact problem, after replacing my angel eyes in 06 325xi E90 with LED the right passenger side started blinking + error!!! Any idea of the fix?
