It was really easy. Thought I was going to have to remove the steering wheel, so I disconnected the battery. Sorry in advance for the image quality-I took the pics with my Blackberry. All you need to change out the part is a flat head screwdriver, and a set of pliers.

Now all they have to do is make a bottom half so they match...

But it does look good. Is that the only CF part you have in your interior?

Yeah, lol. I'm a 20 year old E-3. What do you expect? Lol. I used deployment money to pay for the car, so I slowly have to customize it on my pay check, lol. No wifey help too, haha.

Aquiring a wife with a good paying full time job is imperative for constant modding

Pull the lever on the bottom of the steering column. Pull the steering column all the way out. Use a small flat head screwdriver to pry in between the top and bottom cover. Pull the top cover up and out. Use pliers to press together the little fasteners coming from the leather sheet, on top, to the cover itself, and pop them out of their holes, one by one. There should be four of them. pop the fasteners into the new cover, pop the new cover into place, and then adjust the steering column accordingly.
