Your opinion needed - Vorsteiner carbon fiber hood
i have a TiAg e90, planning to get a Vorsteiner cf hood, but i couldn't decide what kind of combinations will make the car looks a lil meaner and yet still maintains its cleaness, here are some of the options i was thinking about:
silver cf hood with black cf vents black cf hood with silver cf vents silver cf hood with silver vents black cf hood with black vents some pictures of the hood in case u haven't seen it car is debadged, i just installed silver/black cf roundels, and will put on Kerscher front lip with cf insert, might get cf roof spoiler, trunk spoiler, or mirror cover, well so i will have some parts to go w/ the cf hood. As for now, i think silver cf hood with black cf vents should look better, any comments would be appreciated, thanks Last edited by sky18188v; 06-12-2007 at 11:43 AM.. |

my vote is for the black/black, i think it looks mean

I say matching TiAg paint over the CF with the vents left black carbon. I've never been a big fan of raw carbon weave on really big panels regardless of what color carbon is used.

I think the hood should match the car. It would be too much contrast in black. That being said, black vents would be a nice contrast.

IMO the silver carbon will look weird because it's going to look like you were trying to match the color of your car and it obviously won't be a match.
I think you need a black carbon hood with everything but vents painted to match the car. |
