You can buy additional miles from BMW up to the last 90 days of your lease--they are .15 a mile at that point. If you pay them at the end of the lease, they are at least .20, so it might be worth your while to buy some now.
Just an idea.

You can go online in BMW Owners Circle and buy more miles at a discount (use their calculator). They'll just space it out over how ever many months you have to pay. And you have up until 4 months before the end of the lease to buy these discounted miles. After that they are penalty mile$.
The site is really easy and you can manage your own lease. by the way, may be a good idea to wait a year so you can get a solid yearly average of how many miles you are driving. Cheers. |

You should of thought about that 10k miles per year lease alittle more. More than likley you were just eager to drive your new car and drove it every chance you had. After the new wears off you will want to drive it less. This of course is if you do not actually drive far to work eveyday.

and this is the exact reason as to why i don't lease....you always have to worry about miles if you don't have a side car to abuse around, unless you don't drive all that much i guess lease cars are good, but i like knowing that i don't have to keep reminding myself to keep a eye on the miles...

I'm looking at a similar issue with my new 335 convertible.
In my past cars, I have averaged about 6-7K miles a year. So when I got the 335, I asked for a 10K/year lease. I've had the car about 6 weeks now and have about 2400 miles. Ooops. As a comparison, I own another car I bought in April, 2004. And it has 17,700 miles on it. I'm hoping this whole "new car" high goes away soon and the mileage rate on the 'vert comes down some. Or I'll have to drive my other car more often! On the other hand, I've gotten more sun in the last 6 weeks with a convertible than I've gotten in about the last 2 years combined. :rocks: |

Have you been lending out your car to the local airport limo service?
