Any thoughts on the price/what kind of issues I might run into with a higher mileage car.
It is at 88,000KM = 55K MILES, EX US CAR

Just the normal:

- High pressure fuel pump
- Turbo system
- Other "normal" high mileage maintenance items.

The first two are covered under extended warranties (up to 100K miles for the HPFP and 82K for the turbos). I'd look to see if either were replaced. Also look to see any recent repairs, replacement, etc.

I bought my e90 335i for $20000 with extended warranty at 72k miles. You can probably talk them down a little bit. I wouldn't pay $24k for it. Maybe $21k. I mean you know what they gonna say....."It has M3 rims and new tires blah blah blah."
Well hpfp is all fixed by now. I've heard water pump and thermostat goes out around 70-100k miles (not all). There is also wastegate rattle issue and BMW extended the warranty to 8 yrs or 82000 miles. Since that car is at 88k, its already expired. Its really nice car but if i were you, i'll get them extended warranty for SURE! if you do buy em.

That's only about 55k miles. Plenty of turbo warranty left.

The extended turbo warranty may not apply here, even though the car was originally a US car...

BMW Canada hasn't extended the turbo warranty here so far.

55k is nothing. I have 93k on mine. It's been maintained perfectly and runs and looks new still. Added PPK and its faster than it was off the show room floor.
