BMS Clutch Stop
Best $10 I have spent in a very long time. Love the way the clutch feels now. All this time I use to just stop the clutch short by not pushing it to the floor. Its so much better now the clutch stop is there to stop the clutch pedal.

Instead you can use the BMS Stop, along with 1,2, or 3 spacers; to adjust the pedal travel to your liking. Makes for faster, cleaner shifts. I also found that it improved my seating position because I didn't have to push the pedal as far so could sit ever so slightly further back. |

Oh BTW you do not need to take off the panel above the pedals to do the install like in the instructions. I was able to just reach my hand in there and remove/install it. If you have big hand you may not be able to did it that way though.

Yep. I didn't take off any panels. Just got down in there with a torch to have a look at it. Then put the torch down and did it by feel.

It kinda depends on comfort and starting the car.
Obviously you have to depress the clutch pedal to start the car and if it doesn't go down far enough the engine won't start. I started off with 2 but had to press really hard on the pedal to get the car to start so I dropped back to one and then added a second one after it flattened a bit. Some people use all 3. Completely up to you. |

As long as you can regularly depress the clutch and the car will start (push button), the stop shim is good. If it doesn't, remove a shim and try again.

Drove about 100km last night with 2 shims and wow the difference. The clutch stop + CDV modification really makes the driving experience like................. driving a manual :P
2 shims seemed to go well with no issues - super smooth shifts now! May give 3 shims a try however am concerned that I will break the fishbone as I did with the OEM stock one! |

Maybe I should have said "Flashlight" since our American brethren feel the need to invent their own words for items and then pretend that the original words never existed... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flashlight "A flashlight is a hand-held portable electrically powered light source, and is often called a torch in areas outside of North America." Top row, fifth from the left. LOL. I love a good sport. Sorry, my American sarcasm can't help but make a joke when it's there. My German GF occasionally thinks I'm an ass, but... |
