135i Fuse Box - which is hot side?

Installed a Blackvue 2CH dash cam to 2011 135i M sport using the power magic pro. Does anybody know which side is the hot side of the fuse port? I used a multimeter with a thin wire and tested both sides and can not get continuity. For ground I'm using that bolt. I'm using slot 5 for ACC power and slot 64 for BATT, both using 5A fuse.

There was no fuse in slot 5 to start with. According to this fuse diagram picture, what does that steering wheel logo mean?

here you go.
I have 2 pmp's so you can see 2 red and 2 yellow wires.
Looks like our fuse boxes are a bit different. But close enough.
And I believe fuse 5 is one of the fuses for steering assist function which is an option you can have on your vehicle.

Hi thanks for the picture. What made you pick the bottom side and not the top of those fuse ports to connect the wire to? Did you test to see which side is the hot side and which side was the fused protected side?

haha to be honest I wired them up before I bought myself a digital multimeter.
I wired them up through trial and error (kinda stupid method if I think about it now)..
I don't think it matters which leg of the fuse you connect the wire to.. I might be wrong though.
If you want to be sure, I can check them out for you with my DMM, just let me know

I tested again and the top is the hot side and the bottom is the fused protected side.

I used slot 5 and 64 which were both empty in the fuse box. Slot 5 is switched ACC and slot 64 is BATT. I installed 1 fuse in the add a fuse wire and that only activates my camera and not the default circuit whatever it's wired for in the fuse box.

How many hours or days can you run parking mode for those 2 cameras before your power magic cuts it off? I set mine to 11.8volts but even overnight it shuts off already. I measured the battery voltage and it was at 11.6V. Seems like the battery health isn't that great anymore. It is 4 years old though.
