Maddad Whisper Quite Exhaust Installed *PICS & VID*

Well i decided to get the Maddad exhaust for 3 reasons. Price, build quality and lack of drone.

After having installed the exhaust, i think i made the right choice.

Exhaust coming out of box

**NWS**

Install is straight forward, but the rubber hangers and mothers to get loose.

Quick DIY

1) Remove the 2 spring bolts from where the stock exhaust meets the midpipe and also remove the nut holding the front exhaust hanger bracket in place.

2) Remove the 6 screws holding the rear plastic diffuser in place, and pop it off.

3) Support the exhaust with jack stands and then muscle off the 2 rear rubber hangers. These are damn tough and i ended up using a rubber mallet and some round tubing to bang the rubber hangers off. A little WD40 won't hurt either.

4) Move the rubber hangers over to the new exhaust and reverse the process above. ALSO REMEMBER TO MOVE THE BIG VIBRATION DAMPNER FROM OLD EXHAUST TO NEW EXHAUST.

MADDAD INSTALLED AND DIFFUSER OFF

DIFFUSER BACK ON, PERFECT FIT

Here is the video of the very first startup. Cold engine by the way. Oh and don't mind the fact that i forgot my keys in the house and had to go grab them while the video was running

Take a little dish soap and put on both sides of the rubber hangers and they should slide off no problem (by hand). You won't believe how much a little lube helps.

nice work. Contemplating replacing my Berk with one of these because it seems a bit more civil.

You forgot an installation step, although it's an optional step. You remove the factory rubber vibration damper from the stock muffler and mount it on the bracket on the side of the MadDad. My MadDad was one of the early models without this option. I picked up a droning mainly at idle when I added downpipes. I'm gonna mount this bracket and the vibration damper soon and see how much it helps. It's a couple of pounds in weight so you could leave it off if you want.

Cool, your quick diy would be better then if you added that step.

I'm very pleased with my Maddad exhaust as well. Just put it on last Thursday in about 15 minutes on a lift at work. I did not find the need to remove the rear diffusor though. Fitment like you said is dead on and after driving the car a bit more, I can definitely say it's exactly what I wanted! Good job Maddad!

I have had mine on since the July and am loving it ever since then. Yes, the fitment/finish is spot on and the sound is awesome. It is just the right amount of volume, being a bit louder than stock, but with a deeper tone.

I just got the exhaust installed. I tried to do it myself at first, but managed to snap the spring bolts Really need to be careful with those.

The shop that helped me drill the bits out fit the exhaust on perfectly though!

Funny. I got one of the bolts stuck putting it back in. They are made of a really soft metal and I managed to gall that bolt but didn't notice. It seized half of the way installed and then broke off when I tried to back it out. The piece was a pain in the butt to get out but I cleaned up the threads on the mid-pipe afterward and the new bolt went in just fine.

I was in contact with Maddad a few times about this and they were nothing but helpful.

LOL that makes 3 of us. I broke my spring bolt too. I drill it out, screwed up the threads and ended up putting a nut on the other side...

Zero drone. The exhaust is very quite at low speeds and gets a deep rumble at higher speeds. This is NOT a loud exhaust, it just accentuates the turbo sounds.
