Wheel bolt torque spec?
Hi.. I couldn't find this information in the user manual...
So.. for 135i, how much should the wheel bolts be torqued to? Thanks

No problem, but since you asked you should share the information for others that did read your thread. Some people here are still learning to fish.
BMW lug bolts are pretty much the same. |

To muddy the issue, the torque wrench supplied with the OEM BMW jack set is preset for 130Nm, or 95.8 lbft.
OEM BMW Jack Set 71106773536 For all vehicles except the X3, X5, and X6 SAVs. Kit includes scissors-type jack, jack ratchet handle, torque wrench (130Nm), folding wedge sheel chock, cotton gloves, tire marking chalk, and operating instrutions. |

There is no way to adjust or read the setting on the kit supplied torque wrench - it clicks at 130Nm. It is stamped with 130Nm on it. The same wrench is used to remove the lug nuts as tighten them. It does not have a rachet on it.

I have the same wrench with my BMW spare tire kit. It is 130Nm and is not adjustable.
Maybe BMW has a 120+-10Nm range and for spare wheels they go with the higher end of the scale? |
