SES Light with long crank.
Dudes,
Remember the thread I started a while back on my long crank? Well I finally got a SES light during this last long crank. When I turn the car off it won't go away when turned back on. I have a BT tool and I have not used it yet. What is the procedure for using it and clearing a code? I have an oil change and check-up on wednesday and I don't want them suspecting anything. I think it's my fuel pump, actually I'm pretty sure it's my fuel pump. The engine ran rough after I turned it on after being off for 2 days and the SES lit up. Should I just BT tool and erase codes?

I would check it for codes.. if all codes are not "TUNE" related.. leave them there.. They'll see it and you may get a HPFP out of it. Unfortunately, the BT does not do selective code clearing yet.. it's all or nothing per module.
P.S, if you don't have a tune, then nothing to worry about. Just don't mention you scanned it or anything.

I just posted my very recent experience here. If yours is similar, they'll have your car for about 3 days. You may want to bring it in today.
