VU27453 is also a south american car, while the last one delivered in Europe is probably VU27452 a VO germany delivered car. The last RHD car seems to be VU28403, also a BSM, produced on June 28th and shipped to Australia. I think the production figures you have calculated are pretty accurate, got the same, unless there is a VIN serie that we have overlooked. |

Yes, 983 does include everything: evaluation, press, demo, photography, but then I'm not sure these add up to 23 units. Anyway, I'm looking at the North American production run, hoping to provide an answer soon. |

France got much more cars than 100 ... like almost every country, they have at least doubled their original batch. Only the original first 100 have received this sticker ... weeks after delivery by the way.
Original planning was 2500 cars worldwide and VIN range figures gives us a total of more than 6000 produced... all the figures per country above will need a serious review. |

So the BMW Germany web site finally took out the 1M from the configurator, like every model that production recently terminates now there is only the "information" option about the 1M. This is the end!
Customers around the world who put their order on time for the last units should continue having their delivery for another 1-2 months depending on their location. We can still have a few more new delivery stories Like it was suspected before, production end for the 1M will certainly help the sales of just starting models M135i and 135is in their respective markets before future M3 and a possible M2 appears. Ismotind, you may soon verify if that 6242 number you came up is the final production number for the 1M or not. |

However, another source claims BMW Belux has quoted the figure of 214 1M cars (of which 80 had already been ordered, or even delivered, by September 2011), with the following breakdown (probably Belgium + Luxembourg, and maybe The Netherlands too [Benelux] ?):

I have an US delivered VO IM that was delivered May 9,2011 and produced in March. I think it may be the 5th or 6th US produced. It is VP 75936. How do I go about finding what production number my car is?

PS: Did you have a baseline dyno done at Renntech? If so, they discovered there were some slight differences (in DSC calibrations) in the early cars

Nothing to do with HP, all about DSC calibration. Allegedly earlier cars = less restrictive.

Updated Everyone's Info:
The registry is up to date. The past couple of pages have really gone way off topic which is to register 1M VIN#'s. I would suggest maybe start a thread (Ismotind) if you want to continue your theorizing and guessing the worldwide final production number for the 1M. It makes it difficult to sift through all the posts and I don't want to miss anyone when adding them to the registry.
Thanks!

Not sure what you mean, the link is in post #1 of this thread.
Official 1M Registry Link: https://spreadsheets.google.com/spre...thkey=CK2ohNYK To narrow your search down you have to go to: ->VIEW ->LIST ->sort COUNTRY column to show only USA You should have 1-740 the number produced for the US market. Hope this helps.
