to the few comments above, each version of DTEC has its own attributes or revisions we made after much QA/QC, not a measure of lumens brightness, it will state the differences in the product description if you read carefully instead of jumping to conclusions based on opinion, not fact. and thank you members for the PM's of support, a picture is worth a thousand words. |

I personally appreciate the type of comments you make and support you offer to anyone, not just your own customers. Much better than that of LUX who often makes deconstructive and borderline insulting comments to anyone who considers a product other than their own...

these are bright enough to be daytime visible, not binding, and most importantly brighter than stock OEM angel eyes. |

Ill gladly test the newest and greatest LUX versus any and all Dtecs.
Like I said I dont have a horse in this race. I am not affiliated with either company, just an end user looking for something that fits my needs. I too have received numerous PMs/emails and its interesting that I am not the only one that has noticed or deal with the arrogant attitude from LUX. |

I'm glad the dtecs are working for you OP. I've just come to the conclusion I won't be happy with any bulb, the rings just suck on the 1series. I'm going with the Orion v4 LED angel eyes and I'm going to blackout the housing and turn signal as well. Since I'm upgrading my headlights now it just seems like a waste of money that I bought the Lux v4s.

FWIW, a month ago a member PM'd me saying the V8's flicker... I don't recall having come across a member's review on the V8's yet. If I'm wrong, someone please post it up here.

What don't you get? Its an opportunity for him to make the truth available to these boards. we've needed independent 3rd party review on LEDs like this for a while.

What I dont get is why anyone would waste their time doing a product review for a company that they did not receive good customer service from.

Reviews work best with randomly purchased products where the manufacturer or reseller has no idea of your intent. So sadly his review while likely to be good, it cannot be trusted 100%. |

Just installed dtec V7s on my 2013 135i and love them. I had a 2013 328i with xenons before my 1er, and from memory the dtec V7s are a perfect match (color temperature and brightness) with the angel eyes on the F30.
Never seen a Lux set in person, but I highly recommend the dtec V7s. |
