+45, +62.
The drop i assume is the reason for the rubs. Mine don't rub and i've got wider tires in the rear. Course its on the Msport suspension.

greetings all 1er's! my name is joe, and i currently reside in the phoenix, arizona area (like mark08ex, above) and have recently brought home a new 1-series. so...
after a longer-than-desired/expected delay, i introduce you to my 2013 bmw 135i (e82). see my sig for the latest updates, but as of this shoot this is s-t-o-c-k out of the box in the following config: alpine white, black boston leather, 7dct, m-sport package, premium package, technology package. mods are pending, but nothing soon as i tend to take my time in evaluating the best approach for my needs. with that said, there are a few things in mind that will be revealed as they are added. i'm coming (back) to bmw from a 2010 vw gti mk6, with a 2007 bmw 335xi (e90) before that so i am familiar with the bmw brand and the various quirks that go along with that relationship (read: rft's, brake dust, etc.) but i am thrilled to be back. ps: if you like the photo...this is a shameless plug, but the photo is by me, and i would love an opportunity to take shots of your car if you are in the area. hit me up with a note and let's meet up!

Hmm, I don't get all the gripes about the brake dust: I've got a 2012 and I get very little dusting on my wheels...

Thats cuz you have a 128i. Different compound, less performance based i believe, more for comfort.

If that were true, then the pads would be softer and there would be more dusting, not less, huh?

Not if they are ceramic pads, which are more quite and dust less than anything metal based like the 135i pads. This is just my thought and I am not 100% on it. But I know the pads are different so I think it is likely,

Maybe BMW changed compounds in 2012, but I don't know how to verify this... All I can tell is that the pads are from Ate.
