Maybe..

I don't doubt he is a pro. I know in the CDV delete DIY... some guys have also stated they did not need to bleed the clutch system. I just do not understand how that can be. It is a closed system and anytime you open it up and introduce air... your gonna need to get rid of that air(bubbles).

Totally agree Dack, and I questioned Peter at the time in regards to not bleeding the clutch, and he assured me it was fine and he was correct..

Maybe PM Peter..

Nope... Doesn't believe in clamping, as no matter how careful you are, there is always the small chance of damaging the brake line.

SouthernBM did mine, just do it as part of an oil change/service and it virtually wont cost u any extra. Go in specifically just to do that and they are gunna have to charge you labour.

Hi guys, other than potential warranty issues, are there any other downsides/risks in doing this mod?

theres no need to bleed the clutch if the lines are fully primed with fluid. The air isnt going to displace fluid without force. Therefore if you connect both lines back together when fluid is coming from both end, no air should force its way into the system

I connect an open line for medical procedures (for my job) to an arterial catheter. Both lines are primed fully..one with contrast for angiography, the other has the backflow of blood from the artery in the groin. Both are joined together and voila, no air. WE can see this cause we use clear lines but i expect this to be no different with the hydraulic lines.

Thanks for the heads up.
