M Sport Front Bumper

I was in a front end accident with our 128i sport cab. I want to change out the front bumper for a M sport bumper. The dealership tells me that EVERYTHING needs to be replaced, including the front grille, etc. etc.

Any thoughts here would be appreciated. I thought this was an easy swap out.

Thank you

I would go ahead if you had the chance! It does cost the pretty penny but the benefits of the look are great!

Ask your dealer for a discount!

Did it myself a while back (see link). The grill can be reused but you'll need new fog light install kits as the stock 128 units won't fit. I am surprised the dealer will do this as it's not an "approved" retrofit and some of the mounting holes under the car don't line up.

OP - you should PM Dan @United for the part numbers. I would go ahead and do it. I mean why not right>? You need a new number anyway!

kidney grill fit fine, but you will need separate bottom center grills / L&R window gasket grills *or new fog light. Other than that, bumper fit on your 128i no problem.

^^Or... you could do a fog light delete and go with a total 135i look. I think its cheaper too.

If you're willing to live without fog lights, you might consider the Performance bumper.
