anyone looking for 18" rims?

got a set of style 264 18" starspokes that I'm going to sell, if any locals are interested I'd be happy to sell it instead of shipping it down to the states

Kiety, where did you get the 264's? It says you ordered the M sport package which comes with the 261M's.

yes, they can be interchanged, the 18" however are a staggered setup so the rear rims/tires are wider for a more aggressive stance (and more traction)

Front: 215/40/18
Rear: 245/35/18

Yeah, too bad. For $600 and no shipping it would have been a good deal. Ended up getting ASA AR2's and WinterSport 3D's from a friend who owns a tire shop.

I checked with UPS and shipping is around $220 to eastern provinces and $190 to central provinces, but willing to let go for $750 shipped to anywhere in canada (free pickups of course)

Local pickup would be good. Shipped... I'm afraid not so much. $750 plus rubber and mount/balance would be near or exceed $1200, which is the price of a new set.

Someone jump on these locally!

You must be getting some outrageously good deals from someone because $1200 for a new set of 18's can't even be had getting it from TireRack unless your buying some really crappy tires.

You can do it at TireRack. Else, get CH replicas from EAS which are 700 to 750 for 18s. Add General UHP on them and yer around 1200 for a great (non-OE) look. If you have hookups (I have a few), then you can score about a bill off which puts you a few hairs over 1200 taxed and mounted.

I believe I quoted Bremmer Kraft 18 with chrome lip at tire rack for 1400 WITH NEW TPMS. Locally netted just a little lower because "cash only"

Anyway, that said, locally I would jump on it no problem. Shipped, not so good for OE, but hey, that's me.

Yeah, locally it is a great deal. BTW, we don't need TPMS.

Canadian Ones don't use TPMS like the US cars so you won't have a warning light. The Canadian system detects differences in tire rotation to indicate a change in tire pressure.

Wait, what?

1. If I order wheels on TireRack, the TPMS they offer are incorrect for us?

2. If so, what source do we have for the Cdn type sensors?

3. If there are no sensors but just something detecting rotation delta , does this mean I can just order a wheel and tire package and be done with it? No light?

Sorry for the threadjack.

Qube, when you order from TireRack check the option that just mounts and balances the tires. We do not use TPMS sensors in the wheels at all so your point #3 is correct. Only the US requires the use of TPMS.
