1M Coupe Orders Open For Submissions. Get a Gift With Order.

M-Power.com has just announced that in many countries orders for the 1 Series M Coupe may be officially submitted through your dealer sometime this week!

US dealers should be able to submit orders as of today. We already have reports of US 1addicts members who have done so.

Update:

• Germany orders open as of December 23rd at latest.
• UK orders as of January 4th (because of VAT change)

Also, if you have already placed your order for the 1M, let BMW know (registration required) and they will send you a small gift.

My CA informed me today that I can enter my order tomorrow (12/20/2010). Option list and pricing for North America not available as of yet.

Just going to now clarify with my dealer that they have actually ordered it for me, as I have put my deposit down and they have informed BMW that they have a firm order and would like an allocation, but I dont know whether this qualifies as an order!

Just checked with dealer, and yes they have put in the provisional order for me and specified white. They are expected to be able to ask me to come up after Christmas/ New year to spec up with my options.

My salesman said last night that they are not able to order and have no further information. For those who have ordered, what have you received in return? Since there are no spec sheets or pricing out there, it sounds more like you have specified what color you want with your deposit and there's nothing much concrete yet, or am I wrong?

Update: not all markets are open for order submission yet. Most markets are expected to take orders beginning sometime this week. U.S. dealers are able to submit orders today.

I was sent the carbon fiber pen already as an anny. gift. Not the best writing instrument but hey, it was free.

From my dealer regarding the order inquiry:

I got on the BMW locator and I see that the car is an option and has an ordering code. However, there are no orders yet out there—I checked the whole country and every status. So, it should be very soon that you can order it as the Model Code is a good indicator.

My dealer said they could not put an order on yet and this was confirmed by M-power.com themselves in an email. This is opposite to what BMW GB told me?

Might explain why Alice has been able to get an order on (UK tax haven!).

Nice to know we have our bloody government to blame, I didn't even vote for either of the parties now in power. Grrrrrrr.

Not only have they cost us £1k extra, they have cost me a free M-Power gift!

Oh man, enough with the marketing. Now we get another carrot dangling around in front of our nose for a 'mystery' present?!?!? What's next I wonder? Fuzy dice in one of three colors if you opt for heated seats by Jan 15? LOL

Just double checked with dealer - order bank is not open (in fact won’t be until late March). That's for US orders. So much for this hoopla of a free present. Give me pricing and options by this week - the only Xmas present I need ;-o)
