These are the options that I got from my dealer:

300 Alpine White
475 Black Sapphire Metallic
Upholstery:
All Upholstery

ZCV Convenience Package*
ZPP Premium Package**
494 Heated front seats
6NF Smartphone Integration
655 Satellite radio w/1 year sub.
688 Harman Kardon surround sound

*Convenience Package: anti-theft alarm system, comfort access keyless entry, park distance control (rear only), and navigation system.
**Premium Package: auto dimming mirrors, power front seats, ambience lightting, BMW Assist w/Bluetooth, and iPod and USB adapter.
*** Convenience Package requires Premium Package to also be ordered

I think it was confirmed that a sunroof would not be offered on the car at all.

If you want a sunroof this is not a car for you, plain and simple this is meant for hardcore people, it is going to ride rough as well. The sunroof kills helmet room, adds weight up top and is something else to break.

M cars with retractable roofs or sunroofs are silly- hence the reason no CF roof with them on M3 or M6.

on the regular 1-series, USB/iPod is a no cost option as part of the value package. If you want it in the M, you have to pony up for the premium package? Good work BMW.

We should also add that when you select the Convenience Package, the Premium Package must be ordered.

Hmm....what are the chances base + the following will be < $50K?

ZCV Convenience Package*
ZPP Premium Package**
6NF Smartphone Integration
688 Harman Kardon surround sound

If it comes in sub-$50K, it will be a temptation for me.

Is it just me or is that is BS. If you want the Convenience Package you have to get the Premium Package. When really out of both those packages I really only want the anti-theft alarm system and comfort access keyless entry. This fact alone completely turns me off to this car. I am not looking for nav or power seats at all and especially not the park distance control. I hate those little circles. I guess I will be waiting for the 2014 M3.
