Those pictures make me so happy I chose SGM. I'll finally get to see mine next week in Munich.

PCD was so amazing wasn't it?
Glad to see another addict that got to do the Performance Center Delivery (I was there on May 5th) The entire day (and night before) exceeded my expectations in every way, it was far and away the best way to take delivery of a new Bimmer. Lucky for me I only had a 2.5 hour drive home. Having now met the staff at the PC, I totally plan on going back and taking the M Driving school. I was a bit jealous of those guys wailing on the M3/M5/M6s. I got some great video of the skidpad exercise as well as the hot lap in the M5. The only disappointment I had the entire day was not getting to autocross in a 1 series, but the 335 was as good a replacement as I could have hoped for. My friend and I completely owned everyone on that course.

Probably the coolest thing ever! I am still debating on doing the "Performance Driving School" as a graduation present. I REALLY want the M school though, but it is WAYY out of the price range.

what car is that? I'm having trouble identifying the front end of this one. Is that the X6?! the picture makes it look deceivingly low(and hot) if it is.

Kiety,
Yes it is X6, and they ARE pretty cool and unique. I saw them assembling those during factory tour portion of the Experience. Couple of shots of it for you. Appologize my car is in your way:biggrin:.

Sounds like you had an awesome time! Just a couple questions: How much "track" time did you get with a 1-series? And how much freedom to did you get with the exercise? Did you drive any cars other than the 135i and X5? Thanks.

Aprox. 2 to 3 hours of track time, including road course, slarlom, skidpad and breaking excersize. If you bring a guest, you share time. I had all for myself. Road course portion FELT too short for me. 335i and X5 were only two cars I drove. The highlight of the day was the hot drifting lap in M5 with pro. driver in it. They really know how to 'play' the V10.

Hooner,
Thanks for sharing your experience and beautiful photos. Congratulations on 'the one'! How was driving the 335 on the track, was it a 6 spd or auto, and how much different is it than your car? Your old pal,
