225/40 and 245/40 for stock 135 MSport

So I am getting non-runflats this week. I've been browsing and searching this forum and so far haven't found any setup with the size I have in mind.

Thinking of getting 225/40 for the front and 245/40 for rears for my 135i MSport. Looking to get

+1 for front as a cheaper way to reduce understeer instead of buying and installing a thicker rear sway bar. Higher aspect ratio for a smoother ride.

Thoughts?

Edit: This is my DD. I drive about 65 miles everyday with a 70/30 highway/city split. Driving habit, spirited I guess. I get off the blocks fast but don't speed much once I get to posted speed limit. Take 90degree corners at speed limit, which is generally 10-15 mph higher than the recommended speed for the corner.

If you are using stock wheels and suspension you will find most members here use a 225/40/18 F and 255/35/18 R. This setup gives you a little wider tire and no rubbing issues. The set up you stated will make the rear tire about .6 in taller in the rear. Here is a link to 225/255 setup posted by Dack.

Thanks. Yes, I've found the 225/40 255/35 setup to be common on these boards. I was mainly worried about adverse affects on the handling and various systems (ABS/DTC/Odometer) due to having the rear tire being an inch taller in the setup I was asking about.

Looked around for the BS Potenza RE970s and the 255/35R18 tire is out of stock pretty much everywhere. Earliest possible in stock date I got was November, which is too far out. So got me a set of PSS in the same sizes.
