Only two choices for most popular? Thats a bit of a farce.. as I'm sure many would tell you Berk, CP-E and maddad are incredibly popular.. and then theres a PILE of others… Like me and the quad RPI setup

I love my Maddad Street Series on my 2011 135i with N55 engine. Great burble down low, nice scream above 3500 rpm, and no drone. It's loud enough that my wife doesn't really like it, but I can still enjoy it in the cabin without windows / sunroof open.

If wife- or GF-acceptance is a criteria, the Maddad Whisper might be a better options.

Cheers,
Bryan

On my 135i I had the Berk Race and changed it out for the BMW PE - first without the Y-Pipe and then with it.

PE with Y-Pipe all the way. Especially if you have DCT. It makes the shifts sound phenomenal.

It's also a fantastic blend of sedate at cruising speeds / when taking it easy and an absolute screamer when you're giving it some right hoof....

I bought it on ebay. If you search ebay for bmw performance exhaust you will find a few companies that sell them. You can find them for $840 plus $20 shipping.
