C.junior > Here are the specs:
F= Front * R = Rear =========================== Sport* =========================== F -1.8" & R -1.3" =========================== Super Sport* =========================== Coupe: F -2.2" & R -1.6" Convertibles: F -2.2" & R -2.0" ----------------------------------- I dropped it more for functional reasons. Car felt lose @ 60-80mph on WOT (all over the road). Handling improved significantly, looks good and most importantly, no rubbing. Running 225 w/5mm spacers - front and 265 - rear -> PSS on stock 264's. Even on dips, no rubs. If you want to go "Super Sport" ask around and see if they've had to roll the fenders. This is the 1M styled non widebody bumper, no need for wider front fenders to fit it.

EINSER M > Got the wheels coming later this week. Couldn't get the VB3's (out-of-stock), had to settle for the v710's (lol). Matte Black. Anything is an upgrade over the 264's.
ilikebmxbikes > Yup, they sure do fit! The passengers side is a dream, bolts securely in 3 places. The Drivers side, not so much. It bolts on the main chasis, but there is no other support/bracket for it. Also requires some cutting on top (not visible). Using a few zips, I was able to secure it. I'm looking at the 1M assembly now trying figure out the options. Last edited by TUN3D; 08-20-2014 at 01:51 PM.. |

Sorry guys, had to do a little house cleaning with the pics. Initially, I started this thread as a 1M-DTM/Kerscher bumper installation guide. If any of you have questions with regards to DTM/Kerscher (Fiberglass), or the new polyurethane/polypropylene (OEM-like material) -- let me know. I'll be more than happy to post pics. After almost 2 years of running replicas, I've decided to jump into a legit 1M conversion. There are a few technical reasons why I chose to go this route, but overall...I love the 1M look. If you've seen one in person, you'd understand. So far, I got my right fender & 1M water tank installed. Waiting on the rest of my parts to come in. Last edited by TUN3D; 08-20-2014 at 01:56 PM.. |

Quick Note: I started crunching numbers, and really thinking about making a run at the "complete conversion" -- meaning -- the infamous rear arches. Initially I thought of just doing the front and fusing the side-skirts, however, after carefully analyzing costs vs loses -- the rear somehow seems like a smarter option. I'll explain in days to come. Last edited by TUN3D; 08-20-2014 at 01:57 PM.. |

MaDoNiOn > Thanks man! LMAO. I'm no legend tho -- ilikebmxbikes, Sk8fe & Venom (plus a few others I'm forgetting), are the real pioneers. I'm just another dude, sporting different pics...lol.
Right now (up-front), I'm running VMR-710's > 18" x 8.5" ET45. Tires are 235/40/18. I'll need to get new front wheels and tires. According to **********s, for the front, I can run 9.5" with ET22. Tires would be 255/35/18 -- same as the rear a/k/a square setup. This will give me a nice flush look. I'm still on the fence in regards to the wheels. It all depends on what's going to happen with the rear fenders. I've sent out several emails and waiting on quotes. If it's within reason, I'm going for it. This means I'll have to get new rear wheels/tires as well. If it doesn't pan out, I'm going to simply fuse the side-skirts and rock the front for a minute until I can find a viable option for the back quarters.
