fitment is pretty spot on! I dont think you can install inside the headlight it was made to fit on the outside of the headlight like a cover Last edited by jackp0t; 02-18-2016 at 02:38 PM.. |

Had to start with the cluster mod A.S.A.P. I was itching to finally work on the car after winter owned me and pussied out on working on it
This one i can do inside the house.lol Opened it up Its pretty straight forward thanks to the DIY of MuNkY6913 thanks bud! I never thought i would use a fork as a tool I couldnt find the red needles so i just did the red marker mod This one was pretty nerve wracking removing the orange led and replacing it with the white leds via solder The first 2 was a struggle but once i got the hang of it it was smooth sailing Tweezer is your best friend in this mod.lol Had to go straight to the car to test out the leds to see if i did it right or fried the circuit board AND I felt like i leveled up in this electrical thanggg. haha The most troublesome part of the mod is at the end (of course) when you put the needles back. My suggestions are *1st is to hook it up in the car with out the plastic cover let it calibrate and THEN install the needles *2nd dont push the needle all the way IN until your absolutely sure its in the proper position because if not your gonna have to use the fork to pull it out from the cluster All done! |
