I'm sorry, its not usually my style to judge other peoples' taste in cars or what they choose to do to their cars, but that is just a hideous E90. Nothing personal but

eh..dont judge so harsh...it is a show car...those go in a completely different category. I was in a car club that went to bimmer car shows all thru the spring into late fall. Trust me in Germany you will see all of that and much worse done to bimmers...if you ever wanna see pics just let me know

i know it is, the judges thought so too, being i've been to 4 shows so far this season and took 1st place 3 times and my last show (the 6 footer) was best of show. I really do appriciate your opinion, i actually found someone that DOES NOT like me car. i was getting worried there for a little while. i'll make sure i post pix of my 135i when i get done with it in about a month. I'm sure you'll appriciate that as well. |

2004 Audi S4 Avant and 2005 BRG MCS. We have been trying--not all that hard--to sell the latter. My wife really wants us to keep the Mini to complement her Forester: she says the gander has had a utility car and a fun car, so why not some sauce for the goose.

2006 Mini Cooper S
Loved that little car. It was totaled parked in front of my house a couple months ago. A woman just wasn't paying attention an veered right into it.

California car. First car I ever owned. Got it in '81 with 104,000 miles on it, gave it away to friends of family 7 years later when I decided I really wasn't coming back to live in California.
I can still hear the way she used to sound cruising I-5 to San Francisco at 80. On cold days, I used to blast the heater on full with the sunroof open. I loved that car. |

I had an E30 (1987 325i), which I swapped for an E90 (2006 325i) when they first came out because at the time BMW said they weren't going to bring the 1 series to North America.
The E30 was great, but was a bit anemic and was getting long in the tooth. I was worried I was going to miss it, but the E90 was great enough that I didn't. However, it always felt too big, and still felt a bit anemic even though it had more "go" than the E30. The 135i is just right. It goes like stink, and mixes the intimacy of the E30 with the mod cons (like audio system and seat heaters) of the E90. All three definitely share the same DNA. There is no mistaking the family resemblance in the driving feel. |
