Stupid question I know...
But I've never had the need or desire to take the plastic cover off the top of the engine until today when I was poking around under the hood.
I see the two bolts on the front of it, but when I removed them It was clear there was something else on the back side holding it down, under the cross member and all the junk at the back of the engine bay. Anybody know where those extra fasteners are? And if there is an easy way to get to them? Just curious. |

There are two more fasteners like the ones you took out towards the passenger compartment. I don't know a way to get to them without taking off the cabin filter housing and a few plastic panels in that area

There ARE two more 6mm hex screws on the rear of the engine cover. One you can see and the other is on the side of the engine cover towards the inner fender. You can see it in my Spark Plug DIY...
