The driveway...
The rates are ok but the workmanship is so-so... guy was drinking beer while taking his sweet time... So I decided to not pay him. Yoda |

I think you must drink beer while detailing a car! Is it possible to do that job and not drink beer??? Are you mad.

No one I've trusted to leave the car with yet... not even BMW. Car comes back with half a tank gone, with only 3 KMs travelled. Uh oh. Don't want any trouble.

Yeah try AW, it's so easy, they are selfcleaning! I just press the carwash button (what I renamed my engine on/off button) and it now selfwashes, including the rims, and even behind the spokes. Wait, I am daydreaming again... sorry time for meds EspressoBoy (meds=espresso in case House wants some) |

Yes we can.
Do you have a good place that you trust and use? I don't even trust BMW to wash my car. They even said, that this is a fact of life, and even thought they "clean" their carwash brushes, they will put swirl marks on your car. |

If you want some recommendations, you'll likely need to go to a busier regional forum. It doesn't have to be a BMW forum, just an enthousiast forum.
Or talk to some car clubs in your area...but it may depend on the group. It seems that most cars guys I have encountered prefer to do their own stuff. |

In a gist... No, the 1 series is too 'new' to trust and leave with an unknown detailer... even at the dealer... just like you'd never valet her...
