New MINI display at the BMW Museum...

BMW has a new temporary display of historical MINI's at the BMW Museum. It's set up inside the "bowl" of the museum. It took the museum almost a month to set up this display. The exhibit will run until January 31st, 2015. I went the Museum recently to take a look for you guys! The Museum had invited some local MINI car club members to display their cars too. It made for a nice evening. Inside BMW had a Beetle's(like) cover band from the UK - playing 60's Rock & Roll - to give the event a unique feel.

As leading up to the 100th anniversary which will be celebrated by all BMW AG factions including BMWi , BMW M , MINI and Rolls-Royce we will preview the next stage of thinking of the smaller MINI , although a concept it will be more production preview showing the more realistic aspects of a car destined for production. This will follow a year later by a production model.
The new car is familiar but extensively re-thought to accommodate shared architecture and more realistic production aspects such as crash safety , packaging etc. the Union Jack tail-lights is something that will be offered to all MINIs to signify "British" identity.

Why does Mini keep bring up a go cart as its rear wheel drive and doesn't under steer as bad as Mini. No matter what rear wheel drive is better.

Thanks for capturing this for us. I loved my tuned 09 MSC but surprisingly it is the only car that I never missed when I traded it in. My step up to BMW from MINI was the best thing I ever did even though I went from 211hp to 143hp in the 118i.

This teal car? Its a Morris Mini Clubman.

Ohh yes. I also thought this Mini concept was cool. It reminded me a lot of BMW's early e-cars like this e1 from the 1990's...
