TRW M3 Rear arms [price alert]

Just wanted to share the deal, hopefully they will restock as I grabbed the last one of a couple of these.

Get the 4 arms from Amazon, and the 2x ABS brackets from ECS. Came out at ~$250 shipped for everything instead of $350-400+ which I see from all other retailers. Have fun!

Thanks for the links!

This thread:

http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1079383

Makes it sound as though only the rear guide rods are required for our cars, as the upper wishbones already have ball joints at one end on both M3 and 135, so my understanding was that there was no functional difference between them?

As far as the guide rods, I'm having trouble tracking down the two part number applications in the links above on my tablet. I'm guessing the JTC1430 and JTC1431 are R & L?

Would like to jump on the guides at the very least...

Thanks again for posting,

ianc

That thread is suspension conversion bible as far as I'm concerned, but I did have a reason for ordering all four. My upper wishbones are shot, well, at least one is. So figured I'd get the M version to save a few ounces of weight. Why not. Now I get to have fun overhauling my rear end again. Will be nice to see how different it behaves under throttle with the TCKR & M3 rear guide rods, and ball bearing toe arms.

And yes, pretty sure they are R & L specific.

Nice find. Even though fe1rx thread says the rear guide rods are slightly better, I still got both because they look good too haha. You're going to like the setup. My rear end is rock solid.

Just curious, how many miles on your car. Also don't forget that alot of the bolts are torque +90 degrees, so one time use. I have reused once. But after that I replace.
