Good Boston-area paint repair?
Hey guys, I'm asking here in the regional forum instead of the maintenance threads because I need a local shop and I figured you guys wouldn't mind (Larry, don't mod me! )
Anyway did a wash and wax this weekend and discovered two tiny little paint chips, so deep that I think I see bare metal at the bottom! One on the hood, above the clear bra and probably the stone the ricocheted and dinged my windshield. The other on the driver-side windshield support. So, I need to get these fixed before the winter weather. Any recommendations on where I should go? What should a fix like this run me? thanks, amy! |

No, it's not just the clear coat. It's obviously several layers of paint, and I'm pretty sure I see bare metal at the bottom.
Anyway, it seems like no one has any recommendations for body shops they trust in the area? amy! |

Hi Amy! I have a few of those chips too.
If you look at the chapter's "Friends" section, they are generally a good place to start. I know that Phil Sanssosio does good work, but your BMW Center also does a LOT of work with local body shops when prepping cars for sale. You may also want to talk with your SA. |
