FEEL THIS: CSL Trunk Lid, Roof, Hood (ALL DRY Carbon Fiber Prepreg)
Finally received my long awaited CSL *DRY* Carbon Fiber Trunk Lid made with prepreg. This now adds to my *DRY* Carbon Hood and *DRY* Carbon Roof Panel.
All parts were custom made and came from Europe. I did some weighing today: Stock Hood = 40.8 lbs Stock Trunk = 26 lbs CF Hood = 9 lbs CF Trunk = 6.4 lbs Last edited by BlackNWhite; 05-07-2009 at 07:29 PM.. |

FYI: None of these parts are "finished". Unfortunately, they only come unfinished. But thanks for your comments. Very much appreciated.

why would you clear them.. you need to cover up that horrible weave.. its not even laid straight .. some of the cf is pulled apart and some is smushed together.. not to mention the curve of the lip is not even straight its bumpy !!

Nice. If you reweighing them once they are finished and all of the electronics, lights, latches, bolts, roundels, padding, etc are transferred I'd love to see the final weights

Nice weight savings. But thats waaaayyyyy too much CF to be exposed. And the trunk's weave is garbage. Paint it all except the roof.
Wait. Is that the Seibon Hood on your car already? Why did you sheel out the money for another hood? |

It looks very similar to the quality of work from "a company that shall not be named"
