H&R sports lowering springs installed
Some before and after pix. Couldn't install it on my own, so went over to riss racing's Adam and Anthony. Fun guys, awesome job. As of 1 day after install the top of the front wheel well stands 24 3/4'' above the ground, and the rear 25 5/8'' above the ground.
Stock Front H&R Front Stock Rear H&R Rear Stock H&R Sorry for the bad pix. In a hurry to go back to LA. Drives more nimble. Keeps the same level of comfort. Less reaction time to turns. Reduced body roll a lot. Can feel the road better without it being too stiff for discomfort. Nice to feel the bumps on the road a bit more now . They're a bitch to install on the 128i. The strut won't clear the well like in the e90 guide. You'd have to loosen the control arms' lower joint. Then the muffler in the rear has to drop a little since it gets in the way for the rear driver-side strut. Just waitin a week to let it settle and get an alignment! |

Just drove it for an hour up to LA. So much more responsive and quicker. Rebounds off dips and settles faster. More rigid and less swaying. Much better than the stock springs.
Gluck with the install lol. |
