Feeler: N54 Power Package!!

Hey guys would you guys be interested to purchase power packages for the 135?? For ie if we were to take tested products and show that they will give you real power increases and create a stage 1 xxxhp, stage 2 xxxhp, stage 3 xxxhp... And by buying them from us we will create a network of authorized installers that you can take your vehicle and have the products installed at an already agreed rate? What do you guys think?

If pricing is lower than a Dinan flash, its not a horrible deal for people wanting to retain their warranty. I'd be in for a BMW NA backed option in the sub $2k arena.

Confused what your asking? This isnt for software only for example stage 1 would be BMS stage 2 software with DCI, obviously I'm working on the specifics but just wanted to gauge interest! I dont think there will be anything BMW NA backed except their own performance line, reason being they dont want to be held responsible for any damage if something were to fail, which is why we are only going to supply proven parts from reliable R&D companies such as BMS, Active ect.. Thanks guys!

Regardless if there is already something like that avialable, the question is whether the community would be interested. I would be interested but curious what the advantage would be. Better price as a package?

Yeah not only better as a package price, and I looked at the mod bargains packages, and all they are doing is stacking retail pricing ontop of your order, I want to make packages for example the highest stage package would be a product list similar to what we did to larry's 135 bringing him to an 11.7 quarter and over 420rwhp on bolt ons!

Andrew here is a thought.

Alot of people have some mods, so are unlikely to buy a complete package.

The other people who have no mods are unlikely to go from nothing to everything overnight. They will likely start with a tune, then intake, then later downpipes ect.

If you do a package, make the packages build off each other.

People buy stage 1 (JB3 + DCI), then later the guys wants to step up to stage 2 (Downpipes and IC), then later he wants stage 3 (Meth). Thats the only way i see this working.

Izzodesh, i think thats a good idea. Suspension packages make more sense to me.

A mix of M3 parts with other suspension parts could make really nice package.

Thats exactly what I was thinking, I wanted to make a stage guide if you will... For example stage 2 which could be downpipes and IC would give you gains of xxxhp and possibility of xx.xx quarter mile time.. That way people can buy and install what they want to get the most gain possible without having to purchase and wonder what kind of gain they have gotten from their mod.

Suspension packages are a great idea... now on the warranty subject what do you mean... like we guarantee 400rwhp with these mods or like a guarantee on part failure... not sure what you mean but your feedback is very very helpful!

If you can offer staged packages that are cheaper than the retail price I'm sure people will be interested.

My only suggestion would be to offer mix-n-match combos

I think he means a part warranty...for X # of days or a year, to be replaced without cost if it happens to fail.....

Yeah I understand where your coming from, basically we would honor the manufactures warranty, which most companies have a minimum of a year in case something fails or doesn't operate properly.. Over that I guess Id have to look into it for sure... Thanks for your feedback!!

I think this is a good idea as long as you produce actual power gains from dyno graphs with the same dyno and car....So start with a stock dyno run post results, add the stage one package and post the dyno results, add stage two package etc...That sold me on evo parts and I think it would work on here.
