I had same problem....

The rubber o ring sits INSIDE of the charge pipe, it doesn't go on the throttle body. I went and bought a hose clamp (4" size) and forced the charge pipe as high on the throttle body and tighened the clamp on the charger pipe end below the stock clip. I haven't had any problems since (running JB3 Map 3-6).

Ultimately you should look to upgrade the pipe as I am (Stett Charge Pipe). There is a groupbuy going on e90post.com ..

Hope this helps.

Had the same problem as well. I would assume the extra boost from the jb3 is to much for their poorly engineered charge pipe fitting. I took off the ring that holds it on the throttle body, bent it tighter and put it back on. No problems since

I suspect you are not seeing yours come off as you have an oil catch can. I found the tuned cars that have no OCC have this issue as the oil contaminates the o ring causing a poor fit.

I only fitted the OCC 2 weeks ago as I am planning to get a new FMIC soon, so in preparation fitted the OCC. I did find the standard Charge pipe was not a good fit though.
