Deep Sea Blue 128i Coupe

Well, it was a long wait but worth it! I received my 2010 Deep Sea Blue 128i coupe mid-December after ordering toward the end of October. Here's my configuration: Manual, Leatherette, Sport Package, Grey Poplar Trim, Moonroof, Xenon Lights, iPod / USB, Navigation, BMW Assist, Premium Hi-Fi.

I opted to go with 128i over the 135i (even though the 135i includes a number of the options, e.g. Xenon, moonroof). I have a 10mi commute each day, don't track the car, and wanted some savings on gas and maintenance down the road.

Looks like the car didn't have pre-wire for Sat (SA-693) -- is that added at the time of order? I did not get option 6NL however since I have Bluetooth and USB but it may be possible to retrofit the eject box.

Here's a couple pics (it just rained) and hope to get some better ones with an SLR.

Beautiful....this appears to be the darkest blue of the 3 offered...correct?

I really like that blue. Probably would have picked that over the LeMans blue on my '09.

Great color, nice car. I was a little surprised to see iDrive but no heated seats, but I guess in SoCal you don't need 'em at all.

Yes, its the darkest of what is currently offered, but I think Deep Sea Blue isn't as dark as Monaco blue which was offered previously.

it's the darkest offered, and if I remember right- unless you have the 135i you cannot get this blue with M-sport, even on the 3s

I really like Deep Sea Blue, but am also a fan of Space Gray and am torn between the too. Hopefully both colors will be available in 2011... (Plan on ordering a 2011 128i MT w/sport pkg as soon as BMW starts taking orders - too late to order a 2010)

Anyway, Deep Sea Blue pictures are very rare/hard to find. It would be great if you could post a couple of pictures of your car in the sun.

Such a nice color, can't wait to get my hand on mine in April-May. At first I was looking at a 135, but apart from the price, I wanted my car in DSB but you can only have the 135 in LeMans Blue(too light) and Monaco Blue( way too dark). I just wish I could order my 128i with Savanna Beige Boston Leather

. I will have to settle for taupe leatherette
