Product Description:
RaceMax is an Italian based manufacturer which specializes exclusively in the production of high performance wheel spacer and wheel adapter drive systems. With over 10 years of experience servicing the Motorsport industry. RaceMax uses only the finest materials, machined to perfection. Whether your goal is to enhance the appearance of your stock factory wheels or improve the handling of your 600 hp rally car RaceMax has a system for your vehicle. Spacer sizes ranging from 5.0mm to 35mm Not just an Aluminum spacer!
The average wheel spacer, engineered for light to moderate street performance applications, on the market is machined from aluminum bar stock.

Production of a RaceMax Forge Drive wheel spacer begins with a select piece of 6063-T6 aluminum, which is drop forged , increasing the materials molecular density, for added strength. Then only after careful inspection the rough formed blanks are C.N.C. machined to within .0005 tolerance of there final fitment. Each component is then heat treated for stress relief, and anodized for superior corrosion protection.

Conventional flat spacers (extended bolts included): These fit between your wheel and bearing hub secured by a longer version of the factory wheel bolt. Which is included with the kit. This is the perfect choice if you do not intend to convert to wheel studs, and your current wheels are designed for use with the factory wheel bolts.

All RaceMax wheel spacer thicker than 12mm are machined to include the protruding hub centering rings which will always center your wheel for proper wheel balance.

Kits Include:
-RaceMax Wheel Spacers
-Longer wheel bolts for OEM BMW Wheels

I've yet to work out what the best spacer amount for the 135 with stock 18s is? Some say 8mm some say 12mm.. I'm happy to keep the stockers, but just want to fill out the guards without rubbing (stock suspension).

Personally, I haven't had a 1 series in front of me lately. You might want to either measure the distance that you need, or talk to some of the other guys in the forum and see what they are running and check out some of their pics.

You can run up to an 18mm spacer with stock wheels/tires and not rub. There was a thread a little while ago with someone running a 18mm spacer on the front and 10mm on the rear with a lowered suspension and no rubbing.

Do you have black bolts, or just silver ones?

We only list the silver ones, but I think that one of my distributors does carry them in black. What pitch and length were you looking for? I can make some calls for you once I know what you want. Thanks

The OEM BMW ones won't work. You would need to purchase a set of extended wheel bolt locks.

Mine arrived yesterday, the quality looks excellent! I'll be installing under my stock wheels this weekend.

I will try and get some pics up before I take a mini-vacation, as far as the spacers, install was very simple and the fit was very good only requiring a light tap on each spacer to snug up against the hubs. I installed 12mm all around to maintain a staggered set-up, the wheels now fill the arches better, no rubbing issues at all. I cannot really comment on handling changes, because I installed the spacers along with my summer tires at the same time I pulled the winter rubber off.
