DIY Radio hidden cookie menu – gaining access…
DIY Radio hidden cookie menu
Since this comes up from time to time… I thought I would post this. This will allow you into the hidden radio menu’s. I do not know what all is in there. But you can cycle thru each screen and check it out for yourself. I first got interested in this because I have a US spec car in Europe. So I made sure I switched the radio over to ECE code and also to make sure the Antenna diversity was switched to “auto” mode. I think the antenna switching might help out a lot of 1er’s that have some reception problems. Btw…. My 135i is a 2010 US spec with the base radio and no Navi. Dackel Ok here is how to get access to the hidden menu’s… #1, put the key fob into the slot. Make sure the radio is OFF. pic of my radio off… ![]() #2, switch the radio ON, and then press and HOLD the “M” button just bellow the volume/on knob. Turning the radio on… ![]() NOW immediately press and HOLD the “M” button in… keep holding it…. ![]() This is what the screen will look like once your in the hidden menu… ![]() Main menu screen – “Device Functions”… ![]() scroll down one screen… ECE = Europe, USA, JPN = Japan, OCE = ? Maybe “Other Countries in European” ? ![]() Scroll down a screen… ![]() Next screen… ![]() Next screen… ![]() Next screen… ![]() Next screen… ![]() The antenna selection screen… ![]() Note: when you make a change the radio will save it automatically. IF you want to exit the hidden menu… just turn the radio off and then back on. Good Luck Dackel. |

As for turning off the orange (front) parking lights, I think that is possible. Atleast that is what I have read over on the e90 forum. Link is bellow. Also... There is a guy in Poland that also does this stuff. But I would ask your local dealer, because some here reported your dealer can do the "coding" IF they know what they are doing. The guy in Poland send you a USB to OBD-II cable. He programs your car remotely. I have talked to him breifly before. But I have deleted his user name. Sorry. Try searching on the e90 forum, bc that is where i read about him. http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showt...ht=euro+coding http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...+coding&page=3 |

Maybe you know some for reasonable price. Is it possible to get wavetrac in Germ? |

You can adjust the volume in iDrive and non-iDrive cars to almost zero
