Changing headlight rings to the xenon blue

Hi I'm new to the forum and I'm not sure if there's another post on just changing the headlight rings without replacing the stock headlights. I'm trying to get my 135i to have blue headlight rings like on the new 335is , what are your suggestions without repalcing all the headlights and if anyone knows where they can get there BMW serviced with aftermarket parts and a JB3 tune in Colorado without getting their warranty voided?I'm just curious because on some other posts they were talking about that. Sorry of this has been covered before or if I'm posting my question in the wrong place , such as the warranty issue.

Im assuming you have the stock xenon kit on your 135? Is so send a pm to this guy --> Sarracino89 he has altered his rings around a pair of DEPO Angels with LEDs. You can ask him what kit he used for the replacement as he did it with a 3rd party installer.

Here are some picks of his LED rings.

Haha yet another blue angel eye thread. Some people don't

take a look at this thread for a giant comparisn of all the options put there:
http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=226159

since you seem like the lazy type () it basically boils down to:

gp thunder bulbs and mtec bulbs - cheap, pretty effective, but not brighter and not pure white or blue

led kits - pure white or blue, but expensive and not very visible during the day

hid kits - bright as hell any time of day, variety of colors from yellow to blue to purple, but expensive and much more involved to install than just replacing a bulb

full headlight kits - as above, they completely replace your angel eyes with independent led's. Most expensive option

Hope this helps

I was just messin with ya

I have the iPhone app too but I don't like it too much I just use safari anyway haha.

Sorry I couldn't help with your other predicament but I'm not in CO, but it's generally advisable to remove all chips and catless DPs before dealer visits, but they don't really care at all about intakes or exhausts, and I even get compliments on them. Good luck!
