So... IF the 1M can jump higher doesn't that mean it is faster thru the curves?

That is actually probably the best review yet. I don't mean as in best = positive, but best meaning thorough.

This is really the first review of the 1M I have read that actually captures the spirit of the car on paper. You honestly don't care when you're in it if anything else is faster. You're too busy having fun. And that's what the 1M is all about! Great read, thanks for sharing!

Great Review - the RS3 does seem like a serious piece of kit though.
Shame Audi didnt invest any money in the looks dept! RS cars always need some 'beef'....!

'My car can jump higher than yours' is a whole new comparison. I wonder when Car & Driver will adopt this new standard?

Yeah, got the mag a few days ago, I wish it said what track they tested them at, unless I'm missing it somewhere.

Great read, captures my feelings about the 1M over the M3, Boss 302 and other cars as well. Exactly why I put money down on my 1M last year obviously without seeing or driving one.

Again a proof that Audi chips there presscars. O-60 in 3.8 sec.
It has the same power, more weight , no way only the DSG and the 4WD can be reponsible for that difference....
Well done Audi

It is an absolute hoot on the track and an addictive plaything on your favorite twisty back road. "

Well done Audi
Could well be, and moreso why does the TTRS not match these figures when this car uses the same transmission, engine and if anything, less weight?!!!

Autocar claimed the TTRS DSG achieved 4.2 secs so god knows how they achieved 3.8!

Nonetheless if these figures are true then that's impressive work from Audi. Hats off regardless as it sets a new bench mark in hot hatch performance.

You mean massive body roll, a steering system that is not connected to the front wheels, and the engine note played through the speaker system?!?!?!?!

Really liked this review, now get it on the TG track and lets see the lap time with Big Jezza in the 1M and Hammond in the RS3

Sub 4 second 0-60, yikes. Might have something to do with 4 wheel drive and a launch that will ruin the transmission pretty quick.
