"Got car back from dealer and had three warranty items done. Blower motor wiring, PCV heater AND the B+ and fuse panel.

Turns out it was "done" in 2013 but not done. When they got into it they found original parts and not the recall parts. BMW stepped up and handled it in my favor and I was very impressed."

This was a recall that replaced part of the battery cable and the fuse box.

It resolved a bad connection between the two.

It was determined that mine had the work "Done" but mysteriously it had the old parts in it.....

Tech at my shop knew a tech who was retiring/ short timer at the shop where it was "Done" who was NOT doing the work but was simply marking it done. The offending shop was BMW of Fairfax.

BMW honored the warranty after they pulled it apart and found the old parts still there.
