First real mod. As in not adding some small stuff like the rubber pads for the door inlays. We didn't get these!

New throttle pedal and brakepedal rubber in stainless steel.

Old situation

New situation

(Of course I vacuumed out the sand)

Now it finally 'matches' with the original Sport Edition package as BMW originally intened. The pricelist even references it:

"Pedalassembly in stainless steel and M footrest".

The US-only 135i iS did get these iirc, although I believe only on the 3-pedal cars. While there is promo stuff that does show a DCT with these pedals.
Well anyways, well pleased with it.

Had a sticking rear passenger caliper piston that was grinding away. New calipers, pads and rotors for the rear.

Previous owner painted the caliper (not the brackets) yellow. Always annoyed me anyway. When I pulled it all apart, the sliding pins had yellow paint on them… idiots.

Also if anybody is in the market for ducks, Tractor Supply has a sale going on in Amenia, NY. 😬

Have my vehicle in my favorite BMW shop for some preventative maintenance, and got some unfortunate results back. I'm at 185k on my N51 128i Coupe. The steering rack has started to leak pretty heavily, like they tend to do on E90's, and I am proceeding with a replacement rather than rebuild. I also got news that my center driveshaft bearing is cracked as well as one of the motor mounts collapsed. I am getting all of the work done; PLUS the items I came in for. That shows you how addicting and one of a kind these 1 Series are. The motor has so much life left in it, now just the typical not-so-fun wear and tear items. After this, I should be in pretty much perfect shape to run that N51 another 100k with regular maintenance. I love the car too much to have anything deferred; especially something that can be considered safety related. Fun times!

Little trip to work today. The oil leak I’ve concluded is due to garbage oil lines and since each OEM line is outrageously expensive, I’ve decided to switch to AN line fittings. They’re on their way, we’ll see how it goes.

And the windhsield washer fluid won’t stop leaking. The leaks never end lol.

I HAVE BEEN SEARCHING FOR THESE!
Granted, the manny trans pedals are discontinued. Definitely a subtle oem+ cosmetic upgrade I want to do.

I bought mine for my 6-speed about four years ago and I love them.

ECS still advertises them as “special order” (https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...m/35000410099/), so you’re probably right that they’re discontinued.

The part number for the set is 35000410099. I hope you have good luck finding them somewhere.

I bought them new. While they are all over Ebay, you can still get them new.

Now while the parnumber for the set is NLA, you can still order them individually. Which I did.

Yep, the first rule of BMW ownership (beyond the warranty period) is "Thou shalt not defer maintenance . . . ever!"

I just take mine off and go with skateboard grip tape.

I just went with the Ebay Special - cheap, look better than stock, don't spend much time looking at them as they are usually covered by my feet. Appears I have never taken a pic of them directly but they are in the sideground of this pic:

I found them through a bmw dealer site but after I paid they had to refund me as they didn’t have them. But I will try this. I appreciate you!

Changed the oil, ready for the summer!
Does anyone get tired of shipping oil back to FCP? I get nervous that a bottle will burst open or something and would rather purchase through Walmart and return it at a local garage and call it a day.
