Reprogram for headlight warranty - remove JB4?

Due to water in a headlight, my car is throwing adaptive headlight errors and a low beam is out. The dealer got the parts in and is covering it under warranty, but mentioned a reprogram.

Maybe it's an obvious question, but would you bother removing your JB for this? Or would setting it map 0 bypass be sufficient?

I had my car reprogrammed and just set it to map 0. They never noticed.

NOT WORTH IT, REMOVE IT.

One guy had his ECU die while being reprogrammed, the dealer said "Its covered under warranty, we will replace the ECU", except for one problem, he had a JB4 in the car on map 0 which the techs will find under ECU replacement.
