maybe I said early January to fill the quota on my black card for 2012

I wont be collecting payments. I will forward all the paperwork to everyone, they also have to get a key read from their local dealer and I will collect everything and forward it to the GB dealer and then they can call in with their credit card info directly.

Maybe the paperwork can even be sent directly to the dealership. Logistics will work themselves out.

AFTER 1M production has stopped or US orders are closed. Seems to be January 2012 right now, so factor in time to negotiate and finalize details and we should be purchasing in Feb '12

I am being told these products are only valid here in the US. Do you get free maintenance in Germany on a US car? If so you may want to double check there but it looks like the coverage is only good here in the states.

My understanding is Dinan covers their own work. These products may cover the non-Dinan parts but some dealerships may not be interested in selling to or servicing a Dinan car.

Hey Papethova thanks again for organizing this! I was wondering, has anyone done a cost/benefit on the additional service coverage?

I assume buying now would be less that actually paying for services after the 4yr/50k period. "Services" being the owner's manual scheduled maintenance. But it would be interesting to see just what the "savings" would be from paying for your own services, MSRP and the group buy.

As for the Extended Maintenance - that seems like an awful lot for 2 extra years of maintenance, especially given that that would include 1 - maybe 2 - more oil changes, at BMW's current suggested intervals. Heck, by then, they may decide that 1 oil change per lifetime is enough.
